How are cosmetics regulated in the EU/UK?
Cosmetics in the European Union (EU) are regulated under a comprehensive framework known as the EU Cosmetics Regulation (Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009). The United Kingdom (UK) also adopted similar regulations while it was still a member of the EU, and after Brexit, it developed its own regulatory framework known as the UK Cosmetics Regulation.
