POISON CENTER NOTIFICATION: keys for a compliant marketing of your e-liquids in Europe
Companies placing hazardous mixtures on the European market are subject to Article 45 of the CLP Regulation. They must provide information on the mixtures to the designated national bodies and should have a Unique Formula Identifier (UFI).
E-liquids fall within the scope of this obligation. Indeed, nicotine and flavors contained in e-liquids present different risks that may require notification to the anti-poison center. In addition, e-liquids must comply with specific regulations.
In this webinar, we will first discuss the requirements applicable to e-liquids. Then, we will present an overview of the different actors in the supply chain and their obligations. We will finally walk you through the key steps for notifying mixtures and processing a PCN notification for e-liquids.
