POISON CENTER NOTIFICATION: keys for a compliant marketing of your paints and coatings in Europe

Companies placing hazardous mixtures on the European market are subject to Article 45 of the CLP Regulation.  They must provide information on the mixtures to the designated national bodies and should have a Unique Formula Identifier (UFI).

Paints and coatings fall within the scope of this obligation. The requirements of the PCN submission apply to these products in addition to the specific regulations.

In this webinar, we will first discuss the obligations of the different actors in the supply chain. We will then walk you through the key steps for notifying mixtures and processing an PCN notification for paints and coatings. Finally, we will inform you on the actions to take and the mistakes to avoid to ensure compliance.
