The new Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) has entered into force this summer. It sets the frame of requirements for eco-conception and more transparency on products durability via the establishment of a Digital Product Passport. As compared to the previous directive which had a limited number of types of products in the scope, the new ESPR has as objective to target any product.
