Comply with the microplastics restriction under REACH

The new REACH restriction on microplastics imposes strict reporting obligations for many actors in the industry. This regulation aims to limit the intentional release of microplastics into the environment.

You are affected if you are:

• Manufacturers of synthetic polymer microparticles (SPM),
• Downstream industrial users (on-site uses),
• Suppliers placing a product containing microplastics on the market for the first time for professional or general public users.

Reporting must comply with two key deadlines: May 31, 2026, and May 31, 2027.
